Redshift Climate – Our Competitive Advantage

With we were designing the Redshift Climate product, we looked at the competition to see if there was a hole in the market that we could leverage. What we found was that while there were some solutions that helped manage heating and cooling, all the existing products had problems. These included:

• Requiring an electrical connection between the heating or cooling unit and the controller
• Only working with one brand of unit
• Requiring a server, and other IT infrastructure

We felt that this really did not meet the customers requirements. With this in mind, we developed a solution with the following characteristics:

• No physical connection is needed with the heating or cooling unit
• Our device will work with most brands on the market
• No server is required, with only simple setup needed
