Redshift Climate – Supported Devices

This page describes the Air Conditioners that are known to work with the Redshift Climate product. There may be other devices that use these particular remotes, but that needs to be verified through experimentation. It may be that some commands will work, whilst others do not. We welcome your feedback as to what works, and what does not.

In addition, some remotes will operate correctly if someone turns the unit off with a different remote, whilst others assume that the unit is not being interfered with. This page will be updated as we build up more remote controls in our database. If the device that you would like to use with our system does not appear here, please contact us and we will do our best to get it added. Generally, this will require a functional remote control. Ideally, we would like to borrow this remote before we come to do your install so that everything can be up and running more quickly. If you can lend us any other remotes that you have, even if you don’t need them added, that would also be great.

Please be aware that some of the remote controls might list functions that do not apply to your unit. For instance, some remote controls include a reverse cycle heating function, and can be used to control similar units without a reverse cycle heating function, with the obvious exception being the heating function.

And if you have a need to control other devices, like TV’s or anything else with a remote control, that is possible. We are most interested in turning that equipment off when it is not needed, but we can generally do anything that a normal remote control can do. It is not our core business, but can be added as part of a complete solution.
